dc.description.abstract | The Electric Tow Tugs are the support vehicles generally used at the airports to tow the aircraft and baggage carts in and around the airstrip and the airport terminal. The airport tugs & tractors are the essential part of ground support services and have various applications. Tugs & tractors are used to move immovable equipment including luggage carts, mobile units of air conditionings and air starters, toilet carts, and other essential equipment. Electric tow tugs and tractors are also used in sea ports and manufacturing industries at their plants to transport raw materials/prototypes from their ware houses or stores to the bay area for processing further. These equipment come under material handling equipment industry which is part of automotive industry. Some of the well-known key players in this industry are Maini material group, Voltas MHE, Godrej MHE, Quest Global engineering, MAK controls and systems etc. | |
