dc.description.abstract | A smart city is defined as a geographical area which provides sustainable living condition and high quality of life to its residents in multiple key areas like transport, economy, mobility, environment and infrastructure etc. In last 2 Decades, Telecom industry has seen tremendous growth and with time Connectivity via net has become necessity in a man’s life. If we try to imagine a smart city, then we are very certain that Technology will play a vital role in it and especially telecom will be major contributor in this. We can see that Internet has become as important as in a today’s life as any other thing. Since it has become inseparable part of our life, we think that government should enable its citizen to have free access to internet via Wi-Fi, at least for necessary services. Every smart city will enable its citizen to have access to all the necessary services like Rail route info, bus route info, traffic info, tax filing, ticket booking, Health appointment etc. | |
