dc.description.abstract | Solid waste also commonly known as garbage is defined as any discarded or abandoned material. It can be solid, liquid or semi-solid state. With ever increasing population and consumption, we also create so much of waste in our day to day life. The waste generated in a society is harmful if not disposed properly. One of the better ways to manage this problem is to minimize waste. However, the generated waste has to be still managed properly for preserving the environment. This study explores the methodology to better understand common people behavior towards solid waste management and how to influence them to segregate the waste better that will improve the solid waste management process. | |
