Tarun Khanna, walked out to his balcony, gazing at the practicing college cricket team in front of him. Tarun, a first year PGP-I student at IIM Bangalore, had just put his old music system for sale on Quikr, an online classifieds platform. Reduced life cycles for aspirational products like mobile handsets had meant that one needed to change a phone on a yearly basis if he/she wanted to enjoy the best that technology had to offer. Though there was a host of memories attached to the old music system, the space constraints in his room as well as his desire to upgrade to a new smartphone had finally convinced him to put up his old music system for sale. As he continued watching, a flash of memories assaulted him, and he found himself going down memory lane.
