China’s currency devaluation, a decision made by one nation to cater to it’s own economic problems had trickle down effect on each and everyone of its trade partners as well as it’s neighbors who are the in same market. This story was then linked to the domestic steel industry. Thus, understanding how the global trade is sensitive to a country’s decisions and the subsquent impact on the various stakeholders was a key takeway. It was also worthwile to note how JSW steel was able to understand the market scenario and align strategy to safeguard it’s business in difficult times. | URI: | https://repository.iimb.ac.in/handle/2074/20687 |
