dc.description.abstract | Mr. Sivakumar was very pleased with the way his presentation had gone this morning. He was on his way to Mumbai, after driving a presentation to the Railway Board of India (Delhi), regarding the implementation of eOffice suite at KRCL. The feedback from the panel had been excellent, and everyone was pleased with the implementation and its effectiveness. As dark clouds loomed in the sky, the one question that had been asked by many at the presentation reverberated in his mind – “If KRCL could do it, why not the others?” As he entered his cabin at the Konkan Railways Corporation Limited office in Navi Mumbai, he felt a sense of content as he saw the table completely devoid of any paperwork. This was the case with almost all the offices at Konkan Railways. His belief that small teams can do wonder has come true. The question still remained fresh in his mind, and there were quite a few angles that he was starting to consider – the work culture, the excellent IT team, the techsavvy employees and above all commitment from the higher management in implementing the eOffice system in Konkan Railways. | |
