Technological capabilities- Analysis of components used in developing state of the art technology for Aircraft carriers, submarines and UAVs. Each of the components used will be studied for developing internal capabilities of manufacturing based on technology transfer or for pure indigenization or direct procurement from MNCs. 2. Defense Economics- Analysis on development of manufacturer friendly environment under Make in India Scheme and suitable regulatory framework for indigenous manufacturing against direct purchase from MNCs with the help of suitable econometric models. Also, analyzing game theory aspects in entry of new players for development of state of the art technology in the modern warfare. 3. Cost Analysis - This involves study of analysis on procurement patterns and selection of suitable technology which is of immediate importance. Another aspect of analysis would be studyinginvestment costs for Skill India Program which involves creating skilled human resource and costs for developing indigenous capabilities, cost of transfer of technologies etc. 4. Talent management - this involves study of proposing ways for improvement and retention in technologically skilled human resources which contribute in improving the capability.
