Abstract: Post the global financial crisis, the investors & financial firms looked for secure lending and explored alternative ways of yields. Parallelly the advent of Al, ML technological solutions such as Risk analytics to evaluate the customers repayment capability, Big Data solutions for 24X7 customer transactions monitoring, Blockchain’s role in reducing cost, processing time, and eliminating non-value adding intermediaries has led to innovative solutions in the Credit platforms. Penetration of internet (61.2%)! and digitization helped the newly emerged fin tech companies and traditional financial institutions to serve larger customer segments.
