For example, physical safety is usually given more prominence in the manufacturing industry while psychological safety matters more in the software industry. In the software sector, Microsoft and Oracle seem to set the benchmarks for similar firms across the globe, and Cognizant has been compared with respect to them to analyze how wellness programs can be improved. Bajaj Auto and Tata Motors have been selected in the manufacturing sector because of their leadership positions in this sector and for being trusted Indian companies. Data was collected through primary research involving current and former employees with some data corroborated by secondary research including research articles, journal articles, blogs about health, etc. The report ends with a few recommendations that companies can adopt to improve the corporate wellness programs in unexpected situations like the COVID-19 pandemic. | URI: | https://repository.iimb.ac.in/handle/2074/21283 |
