Abstract: Productivity of all kinds of organizations is a matter of concern for the best return on investment. This becomes extremely important for MSME’s as the larger organizations have the resources to overcome this hurdle and take up steps to improve productivity. Improvement of productivity starts with measurement, analyzing the data and taking required steps to improve productivity. The report focuses on improving the productivity of MSME suppliers for an automotive parts manufacturing MNC, by doing a competitive analysis of government policies in various countries and a quantitative analysis of the existing data on productivity of those suppliers. The objective is to provide suitable recommendations for MSMBP’s as well as for the government to improve policies.
