dc.description.abstract | Prime Magister Narendra Modi recently took the first step towards digital currency in the country through an electronic voucher based digital payment system “e-RUPI”. The platforms has been developed by the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI), department of Financial Services, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare and the meee ee Authority and will be purpose-specific person-specific cashless, contactless digital payments medium, which will be delivered to mobile phones of the beneficiaries in form of an SMS-String or a QR Code. | |
