Abstract: In this report, we have started by introducing the concept of Quantum Computing. We then define the term Quantum Computing and the physics behind it briefly and how it differs from Classical Computing. We then explore the status of Quantum computing and how the Industry Value Chain is divided into two major parts. We then discuss the different applications of Quantum Computing in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Drug Testing, Financial Modelling, and other fields, followed by in depth discussion of Quantum Computing in Cyber Security. We then discuss the Challenges and Risks involved in detail, followed by Major Players in the industry and conclude with exploring the future of Quantum Computing. This report's major source of information has been secondary research from websites like IBM, Research gate and others and one-to-one interview with Mrs. Priti Shah, Software Engineer at IBM in Quantum Computing Department.
