Team formation is one of the most important aspect of the game and influences the win probabilities. Hence, the selection committee has to choose the team carefully after proper evaluation. To facilitate this tough job of selecting 15-member squad for the cricket, this report focuses on various techniques available and suggest a right model based on linear programming and machine learning.
