Understanding the status of smart cities mission implementation and recommendations for improvement in digital transformation

Abstract

This study discusset:je concept of Smart Cities through their definition, aspects. Through this study, we explored the smart city concept & aspects in different parts of the world. Also, we studied the implementation status of Indian Smart Gties mission, challenges involved in it. Based on our study and understanding in the Indian context, we made recommendations concerning different digital solutions in smart cities in the world integrated with public services and how the digital transformation can be improved.
