The industry has been increasing exponentially over the years and tlhe COVID-19 pandemic has further accelerated it. Since it is easy to manage compared to offline stores, many sellers are entering into online business to ride on this trend. But this also brought lot of problems and there has always been a discussion about the role of these Platforms and their limitations. One of the major problems is the selling of illegal/counterfeit products thro ugh these channels. Counterfeit products are manufactured to appear like authentic brand products which are not genuine and sold in the market. | URI: | https://repository.iimb.ac.in/handle/2074/21781 |
