From our process analysis, we are able to enhance overall labour utilization and thereby get a considerable savings on monthly labour cost. There might be some constraints over projecting the suggested orientation directly on the shopfloor as our analysis has been based on some preliminary assumptions (Details Appendix 6). Once it is implemented on the shopfloor, the analysis can be improved further based on the limitations faced. Moreover, the excel template prepared for the analysis can be used for other product categories and other production lines with minor changes as applicable.
