dc.description.abstract | In India, International trade is a crucial component of GOP- exports as a percentage of GOP is around 18%, and it is around 20% for imports. Firms face a multitude of challenges while exporting and importing. So, through this study, we hope to understand some of those challenges, especially for exports. The World bank releases Enterprise Surveys Data periodically for its various nations. The latest data available for India is of 2014. We'll analyse this to answer quantitatively and qual itatively some of the common queries related to problems for Indian firms in international trade. The issues can arise for myriad reasons, including variation due to firm size, spatial variation, etc. In a developing nation like India, many challenges/costs are incurred within the nation. We will examine the nature of such costs and understand the implications that various government policies can have on them. | |
