dc.description.abstract | Last mile delivery, or last mile logistics, is the movement of goods to the desired destination, ie, consumer's door. The transportation is aimed to deliver the packages as affordably, quickly and accurately as possible III. In other words, it is the last step before the han dover of goods to the customer/consumer. This activity is often seen as a competitive advantage in many D2C, E-Commerce & other customer delivery-based companies. The reason being that efficiency in last-mile delivery is closely linked to customer satisfaction. Customers today prefer having their orders delivered in a safe, fast & cheap manner. | |
