dc.description.abstractWith the perpetual technological and digital advancements in today's time, India is witnessing unprecedented trends in the adoption of platform businesses. The widening inequality between the digital haves and have-nots provides an interesting sociological test bed for the future. The objective of the project is to study the digital divide in the country, factors such as digital literacy, digital infrastructure, etc. that account for it, and to study how this divide will affect the adoption of platform business models.
