This would immensely help the bank in calculating the risks involved in investing in the companies operating in these industries and also adopt subsequent risk mitigating options. The information gathered would be useful in credit lending decision making, local and global competition scenario mapping and perceivable future regulatory actions. The areas of work include gathering of information on segments of the infrastructure sector (power, telecom, airports, ports, roads and mining) which are highly regulated.
