dc.description.abstractAs a part of my summer internship project with the Investment Banking Division of JP Morgan, I was asked to present a fairness opinion to the Board of Daiichi Sankyo on the recent acquisition of Ranbaxy Laboratories by Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Limited for a consideration of US$4 bn. The presentation was made to the internal team of JP Morgan as a part of the screening process.
