Effective manufacturing architecture to meet customer needs through one piece flow

Abstract

Today markets are diversifying and individual customer preferences determines the buying pattern. Customer expects prompt delivery of the finished goods in wide variety, small lot quantity in the shortest lead time. Therefore, it has become importance to have manufacturing architecture which will facilitate the manufacturing of the only goods those will be sold only in the time and the amount needed. This project is endeavour in that direction .Here we have envisaged and conceptualize the framework of new manufacturing architecture with the sufficient details to achieve said purpose .We are glad that this concept is well received by Switchgear Management as a next step in change process which has started few years back.
