Biography
Anand Deo received his Ph.D. from the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research Mumbai in 2021. His research interests lie in statistics, applied probability, operations research and financial engineering. His current work focuses on data driven optimisation models and algorithms with an emphasis on achieving robust performance in the presence of extreme risks. Outside of work he is interested in music and is a classically trained pianist.
