dc.description.abstractThe project aims at increasing the investment of fund in the exchange from both retail and institutional investors. India is the largest consumer of gold and thus there lies a huge population who use gold as an investment product due to its ability to provide a hedge against inflation. Bullion is an international commodity traded widely across the globe. The methodology used is that of taking opinion of physical market operators, both large scale and small scale. Also the data was collected from free sources to look at the legalities needed to be fulfilled by institutions before entering derivatives market. The project reached a conclusion to promote investment by institutional investors through various methods and incentives explained in detail in the report.
