dc.description.abstract | Realization Technologies’ plan is to launch P.E.O. (Project Execution Office) services in India. The focus is on organizations which are either executing large projects (>INR 500 crores) or enhancing capacity through expansion projects. As part of preliminary research before launching the services, the company wishes to study and understand the ground scenario in various business sectors which undertake large projects, either for themselves or their clients. The summer intern is expected to conduct some ground research on project management practices that are existing in various companies, best practices and the typical issues they face from project leader level to top management levels. This is expected to provide some guidance on ground realities and facts about particular market sectors which the company aims to address. The choice of the industry sector is left to the intern and once that has been finalised, he is expected to study five organizations belonging to that sector. The intern is expected to execute the project in Western India, based out of Mumbai, Maharashtra. | |
