dc.description.abstract | Schneider electric the global specialist in energy Management is a £ 20 billion Company focusing on electrical and control industry. In the year 2011 it was ranked 374 in fortune 500 lists. Schneider has operations in more than 100 countries around the world. The India operation focuses on Power, Lifespace, Buildings, Industry and Energy management business units with products targeted for energy management. Schneider Electric's Buildings business delivers more than solutions for HVAC, access control, video security management, lighting control & energy efficiency. The main objective of this report is to suggest strategies to establish a distribution channel for Schneider’s HVAC control devices segment. To do so we have studied strengths and weaknesses of Schneider electric India, compared it with its competitors, tried to understand the market dynamics and potential. After accessing the market condition we studied the product offerings in HVAC control segment of Schneider electric global and then identified products which will be competitive in Indian market both price and feature wise. The report then benchmarks Schneider electric India’s existing channel against its major competitors. The report also gives insight to the distribution channel to reach the market and the cost benefit analysis of the new channel. | |
