Abstract: The internship had an unstructured format and the overall project brief was informal. Feedback and guidance was limited. The scope and direction of the project was self-defined. The deliverables included a presentation on the competitive intelligence gathered. The project on competitive intelligence was to serve not only as a benchmarking exercise but also as a baseline for further analysis and action by the department.
